Scope of Service and Coverage

WESTEC will be consistently involved in the instruction of new and current employees /
security personnel on how best to determine and control the level of safety, securing
and protection of life and property thus eliminating potential and real risk events at
their duty points.
GENERAL POLICY:
 WESTEC security officers are selected mainly on merit with basic qualification like
SHS, O’level, A’level etc. exhibited during the interview. The potential for
excellence, honesty, punctuality, reliability and possession of good
communication skills are greatly considered.

 After selection and recruitment, our trainee guards undergo rigorous drill, self-
defense and fitness programme to prepare them adequately for the task ahead.

Furthermore, they are statutorily vetted by a special arrangement with the CID
Branch of the Ghana Police Service.
 Guarantor’s Forms are given to successful applicant to be given to people of
reputable status to guarantee their employment.

 Selected recruited trainee guards upon successful training sessions are awarded
certificates before deployment at various sites and locations.

 WESTEC Security Officers shall be well-trained and trusted to safeguard against
sabotage, assault and all potential dangers at Clients facilities assets and their
properties by ensuring effective surveillance and focus on the ground in
accordance with the general orders and standard operating procedures.
 To provide an excellent security service to the client throughout the contract
period.
 To train and retrain additional men for the assignment as well as emergency
deployment in the event of any illness or emergency thus preventing absence
from the premises at any given period.
 To pay Salary, SSNIT, Medicals and other incentives to motivate our frontline
security officers.
